Thomas Haury grew up in rural Ohio much like his main character Peter Lucas. Hunting, fishing, and trapping were part of everyday life. Since then Tom has married his high school sweetheart, helped raise his two children and now loves spoiling his two grandchildren.
Thomas avidly enjoys traveling to new places, enriching the culture and history of the area. A perfect day consists of writing, reading, quality time with family, and enjoying a body of water along with all the nature it attracts.
Now a resident of the small town of Salado, TX he also runs a few small businesses and enjoys life in central Texas with his family.
